Studio Capa is a landscape design and build studio based in Rincon, Puerto Rico. The Studio Capa approach focuses on layering function and beauty in the landscape. Capa, meaning "layer" in spanish, symbolizes the multi-functional design ethos of Studio Capa.
As a design and build studio, we offer consulting, landscape design, landscape build services and project observation for in-house designs. With a wide range of experience living and working with landscapes in the southwest, northeast, midwest and caribbean, we offer a diverse range of knowledge of plant communities and regions.
Mollie Gerber, designer/founder

Mollie Gerber is a Landscape Architect in Training (LAIT), who earned her Master's in Landscape Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico in 2023. Mollie holds a wide range of experience in the field from idea conception to installation and skilled maintenance of over 10 years. She holds a certification in permaculture design from Prospect Rock Permaculture in Vermont. Her knowledge and passion of permaculture and ecological design guides and leads all design decisions.
